Shock City Studios and School of Music: A Music School Within a Recording Studio

There’s something extra special about taking lessons at Shock City School of Music! We are an affiliate of Shock City Studios — the most trusted recording studio in St. Louis. What does this mean? Well, we are able to offer lessons beyond your instrument!

We offer private lessons with professional engineers to learn ProTools, engineering, and productions skills. Our students also have the unique opportunity to work with professional engineers and producers to produce and record their own music or favorite songs.

This gives a great opportunity for students to record and learn music production in the same space as dozens of highly recognized musicians and with our highly talented professional audio engineers.
