CAMI BONINE

WOODWINDS, VOICE

Cami is a multi-instrumentalist who began playing woodwind instruments at the age of 10 and has been singing for as long as she can remember. She studied music at Southeast Missouri State University before settling in the St. Louis area after graduation.

During her studies, she privately studied voice and saxophone and worked with and often held leadership positions in the university's marching band, jazz band, concert band, concert and chamber choirs, opera department, and more, allowing her the privilege to perform stage productions, major works, and beyond by some of history's most celebrated composers. She additionally spent time as the Director of her university’s student led Show Choir and the Vice President and co-founder of their Ukulele Club, both of which being organizations dedicated to the musical education of all students no matter their skill or music background.

Since graduating, Cami has taught a litany of private lessons and performed with local funk bands, concert bands, and a variety of other ensembles while continuing to write and create original music. As an educator, she believes in making music accessible to everyone and seeks to create a safe, encouraging, and memorable space where students can explore their love of music, build confidence, and discover their own unique sound.
